Turns out that a photo a day isn't working out for me, especially as I've been feeling a bit crappy the last couple of days, and so failed already. Instead I've decided to make it a 'post when I've taken a picture I like' project. Hopefully I'll still improve, plus I'll enjoy it more when it doesn't feel like a chore.

Today is the first day of my 'post a photo every day' project, which will hopefully help me see how my photography improves over the year.

This is a bit of a cheat - I took the photo yesterday. There's no way I'll have chance to take something nice today - there's cake to eat and beer to drink. Priorities, and all that.

A photo each day will start properly soon, I promise. Not going to have internet access for the next few days though - what an excellent start I've made to this project!
